Branding + Packaging Designer

--Freelance--

About the Role

TheTechCanvas is looking for a talented freelance Branding & Packaging Designer with a strong eye for visual identity and hands-on packaging experience. Our current project is in the stationery space—designing branded packaging for stationery products and we need a designer who can bring both creative flair and print-ready precision to the table.

This is a freelance, project-based engagement. You'll collaborate remotely with our team, so reliability, clear communication, and the ability to deliver on deadlines are essential.

What You'll Do

  • Design packaging for stationery products (boxes, sleeves, wraps, labels, blister cards, display units, and more)
  • Develop and refine branding elements—logos, colour palettes, typography, and visual systems
  • Prepare print-ready artwork with correct dielines, bleed, and colour specifications
  • Translate client briefs into clean, market-ready design concepts
  • Collaborate with our team on revisions and final delivery

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in packaging design, ideally including stationery or consumer products (portfolio required)
  • A strong sense of branding and visual storytelling
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Solid understanding of print production, dielines, and pre-press requirements
  • Attention to detail and ability to work within brand guidelines
  • Self-motivated with strong time management for a freelance workflow

Engagement Details

  • Type: Freelance / Project-based
  • Location: Remote
  • Compensation: Based on project scope and experience
