• To understand how our website is used, so we can improve it, and to measure our own ads.

We only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and every message lets you stop.

04Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our business, and they only process your data for us:

• Odoo: hosts our website, CRM and business records.
• Meta (WhatsApp, Facebook and the Meta Pixel): carries our WhatsApp conversations, and the Meta Pixel on our website helps us measure and improve our own ads.
• Google Analytics and Plausible: website statistics.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data outside Pakistan. We only work with providers that protect it.

05Cookies and website statistics

Our website uses a few cookies that it needs to work, for example to remember your language or keep a form secure.

We also use Google Analytics, which uses cookies, and Plausible, which does not, to see how many people visit and which pages they read.

The Meta Pixel uses cookies to tell us when someone who saw one of our ads visits our website, so we can measure those ads. Meta handles that data under its own privacy policy.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

06Client data in your Odoo

When we implement, fix or support your Odoo, we may see the business data inside it. We only use it to do the work you hired us for, keep it confidential, and follow the terms of your contract.

07Google account data

Some of our tools let you connect your Google account, for example your Google Calendar, so meetings can be booked or shown there. If you connect it:

• We only access the Google data needed for the feature you turned on, and only use it to provide that feature to you.
• We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
• We do not share it with anyone else, except where needed to provide the feature, for security, or when the law requires it.
• Our team does not read it, unless you ask us to (for example, for support), or for security or legal reasons.
• You can remove our access at any time in your Google Account settings, and ask us to delete the data we hold.

TheTechCanvas's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

08How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons above. Invoices and accounting records are kept as long as tax law requires.

09Your rights

You can ask us to:

• show you the personal information we hold about you,
• correct it,
• delete it: we will do this within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it (for example, invoices),
• stop sending you marketing messages.

Just email hello@thetechcanvas.com. We may ask you to confirm who you are first.

10Security

We protect your information with access controls and secure, reputable service providers. No system on the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will tell you if a problem affects you.

11Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
